We stayed at El Palmar for the eighth time in eleven years of travelling to Mexico-there is a reason for continuing to return to el Palmar, it is a blast! We've been coming to El Palmar for many years now and it never disappoints. All units on 1st and 2nd floors have kitchen facilities, en suite baths while the 3rd floor has 4 fully equipped apartments. There is a nice pool, and an outdoor patio grill for use by guests. Cleaning service is daily except for Sundays and fresh-baked local bread is delivered to your door daily except Sundays. On many Wednesday evenings, guests are invited to participate in a potluck dinner followed by live music.
Highly recommended! Tennis every morning on 4 beautiful red clay courts - who could ask for more! El Palmar is very laid back and relaxed, and the price is right!
For a tennis addicted single woman looking for a safe, intimate place to stay over the Christmas holiday I couldn't have dreamed for anything better. John and Rosa are the perfect hosts.
The staff are friendly and efficient and a wonderful doctor with a clinic a couple of blocks away lives onsite. There are free bikes available for touring around and every day a van load of guests is driven to and from four wonderful clay courts in a nearby town. The setup of the complex is secure and altogether El Palmar is simply flipping sweet!
