We stayed at El Palmar for the eighth time in eleven years of travelling to Mexico-there is a reason for continuing to return to el Palmar, it is a blast! We had a great time at El Palmar. As advertised, the tennis, and the hospitality were all amazing, but what we weren't expecting was that we were right next door to the best part of the beach. Quiet, beautiful, and endlessly relaxing. We would definitely go back!
This is a great B&B style place in the Villa Olbergon, San Patricio, Melaque part of Mexico about a half hour north of the Manzanillo airport. Tennis everyday and lots of time to absorb Mexico.
My husband and I were looking for tennis lessons and partners in a beach location and found this little gem of a hotel in Melaque just a few yards off the beach. We had the most wonderful 9 days and because of the intimate nature of the hotel and the shared tennis experience for those who were playing.
El Palmar is so well tended and comfortable - everyone feels like family there. The tennis is a big draw for us, but we'd go even if we weren't playing tennis!
